Belgrade, the night of 25 October 2026 — the night SNS fell.

SNS was Serbia's return to the '90s: to the people who got us into war, dirtied our history and killed our neighbours, back in a different, almost as evil form. Rule of crime, rule of money, rule of cheap, rule of people who do not know how to be ashamed.

End of lies, end of blackmail, end of embarrassment, end of fear. Start of freedom.

Away from the stills, I fly FPV — first-person-view quads. This one climbs the mountain above Foča and drops out over the Tara river canyon. No shutter speeds here, just line-of-sight and nerve. Best full-screen, sound up.

Hamburg, Christmas — in town for CCC. Cold, bright days and warm, crowded nights.

Cer, near Ruma — October 2025. Looked up on the way and the sky was doing something completely insane.

A stopover in Abu Dhabi — an hour in the aquarium, all glass and moving blue light.

Maldives, August 2024. Between the water and the palms, it was the island's smaller residents that kept turning up in front of the lens.

Kreševo, a quiet Bosnian town — summer 2024, visiting family. Between the visits, mostly an excuse to get close to the flowers.

A December business trip to London, with an afternoon stolen for the Natural History Museum — from a killer bird's skull to the great whale hanging in the hall.

Kranjska Gora, up in the Slovenian Alps — November, and the best seat in the house was the one in front of the fire.

The Red Bull Racing Showrun came to Belgrade — Formula 1 and Red Bull's drift BMWs running a wet downtown street, thousands of phones held up in the rain. A grey day that the liveries lit up anyway.

Plane to Paris, train up to Lille for Pass the Salt — the free security conference — with the Tour de France about to roll into town. This frame is the Paris leg, a green afternoon before the talks.

A few days around Lake Bled — peaks still capped with snow, the valley just waking into spring. Long lens, quiet mornings, patient birds.

A March business trip to Barcelona. The conference kept the days full, so the photography happened indoors — the hotel turned out to be all warm light and quiet, considered detail.
